Emergency First Aid Training

Alert First Aid is returning to Mayne!

This is a 4-hour, fast-paced, hands-on course that teaches adult/child CPR, emergency scene management, AED use, spinal injury management, & obstructed airway procedures. This course will also include simple treatment for bleeding and broken bones, and how to address a suspected heart attack, stroke, sprains and strains.

Participants will learn to recognize and respond to a variety of medical emergencies, making this course suitable for those providing care in child care, workplace, or community settings. The training also emphasizes first aid principles and the ability to perform CPR confidently in real-life scenarios.

WorkSafeBC Regulatory Standards

This Emergency First Aid and CPR Level A course aligns with WorkSafeBC standards and Canadian Red Cross guidelines, meeting the latest occupational health and safety regulations.

Price: $40/person
Normally $95 per person, this year MIHCA will cover over half of the course fees.
