    Eye exams on Mayne Island.

    ClearLight Eyecare are able to travel to Mayne when we have fifteen confirmed appointments.

    Adult/teen eye exams (over 12 years old) - $185.00
    Under 12 years old - $90.00

    Add yourself to the waitlist and we’ll let you know when they’re returning.

    Interested in eye exams on Mayne, but only if they are covered by MSP or otherwise funded? You can let us know in the waitlist form and we’ll contact you if that comes to pass.

    Looking for a doctor, but not quite sure where to start? Trying to refill your prescriptions, but not quite sure how? We can help! We are available to provide 1:1 health navigation support. Support can include assistance with:

    - signing up for the provincial health provider waitlist

    -signing up for virtual or remote health services (for example, Tia Health, Maple Health, Rocket Doctor, etc)

    -prescription refills (when you don’t have a family doctor)

    -accessing TAP (Travel Assistance Program) forms

    And more! Let us know what you need help with and we’ll do our best.

  • Caregiver Support Group

    The 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month
    1:30-2:30 at the Library
    Free

    This group is a platform of support for individuals who are facing grief, loss or navigating life transitions for self or someone you care for.   Bringing an opportunity to share insights, challenges, and experience in a compassionate space of deep listening with people who understand. 

    This support group is peer led  discussions that accompany grief, loss and transition in a safe and supportive container.

    This group sessions will be co-facilitated by Meg Ferris BCST & Nevah Eyton BCST.

    MIHCA is partnered with MIALS, who offers a Care Receiver Program at the same time, allowing primary care givers respite to attend.
